Ragweed identification: Tuesdays from 3-5pm & Fridays from 10-12pm.

Nearly 10% of the Quebec population is allergic to ragweed, yet most of us are not able to recognize this plant. There is no program to eradicate this harmful weed from public and/or private spaces. Every year, then, the Éco-quartier NDG organizes an anti-ragweed campaign to sensitize people to its presence and encourage citizens to rip it out when they see it. We are currently seeking motivated volunteers to assist our Green Patroller in:

1. Removing ragweed on public property;

2. Identifying the plant with little markers (provided by the Éco-quartier NDG) on private property in an effort to encourage property owners to pull it out.
