Funded by the Minister of Public Security, this project, coordinated by Katherine Hébert-Mettè, began in May of 2010. The project developed a program regarding the sensitization to the phenomenon of hypersexualization is divided into four workshops of 75 minutes each and hopes to develop critical thinking for students in secondary 1-2 when faced with norms that society presents them on sexuality, relations between men and women etc. These workshops are offered free of charge for high schools in Côte-des-Neiges, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce as well as neighbouring schools. The effort and energy spent last summer on research and development to create animation tools showed a profit, because by the end of the year, Katherine was equipped with four sessions:: «1- Stereotypes and discrimination; 2- Sexism in publicity; 3- The hypersexualized culture and its influences; 4- Demystifying prostitution.
